CLE Series – Open Amperometric Cells for Measurements of Chlorine, Bromine, Chlorine Dioxide

DESCRIPTION

Open amperometric cells provide fast, accurate and not selective measurements of the disinfectant (chlorine, bromine, chlorine dioxide) concentration in water.

The CLE11 and CLE12 models are two-electrode cells assembled in a probe holder with housings for proximity sensor and temperature probe, and equipped with an anti-passivation system of the copper electrode and regulation of the inlet water flow.

The CLE16 model is a three-electrode probe, with glass stem, suitable for measurements in potable water and swimming pools, even in presence of salt electrolysis. To be installed in a proper probe holder.

TECHNICAL DATA

  • Measurement range: 0 … 2.00 ppm (up to 5 ppm with saturation error)
  • Models CLE11 / CLE12:
    • Two-electrode cell, copper / platinum (Cu/Pt), assembled in a down-flow type probe-holder with housings for proximity sensor and temperature probe; connections for hose 6×8 mm and sampling outlet
    • The CLE12 version also features two housings for sensors of dia. 12 mm (e.g. pH and ORP electrodes)
    • Anti-passivation system for copper electrode
    • Regulation of inlet water flow
    • Working conditions: recommended flow rate 40 … 50 l/h; temperature max 40 °C; pressure max 3 bar; pH range 6 … 7.8
    • Wall mounting
    • Supplied with installation kit (valves, fittings and 5 meters of PE hose)
  • Model CLE16:
    • Three-electrode probe with glass stem, 1 meter cable with M8 connector
    • Working conditions: recommended flow rate 60 … 80 l/h; temperature max 45 °C; pressure max 3 bar
    • pH range 5 … 9 (working limits of the cell); 6 … 7.8 (recommended for disinfection with chlorine)
    • To be installed in a proper probe-holder, with proximity sensor and regulation of the inlet water flow
